Partners4Housing, an organization that works to find housing solutions for families with a loved one with a disability, has joined with local nonprofits to provide free Benefits And Housing Reviews for families across Washington.
In Clark County, the organization is working with Peace NW to serve Clark, Skamania, Klickitat and Spokane County residents.
“Supportive housing for people with intellectual disabilities is really limited … and navigating the benefits silos is confusing and complicated,” said Pam Blanton, founder and CEO. “At Partners4Housing our mission is to help families create housing for loved ones.”
Thanks to a grant from the Dan Thompson Memorial Fund, 6,000 Washington residents will have access to free Benefits And Housing Reviews, helping families to navigate finding supportive housing and aid for people with disabilities who are 18 and older.
